Activation
Arch Linux copies should be activated using gnu-linux-activation-technologies-clientAUR. Using non‐activated (except for grace period) Arch Linux copies is illegal after 2020-01-01.
Software
To activate your Arch Linux, you should install gnu-linux-activation-technologies-clientAUR. To get key server link, you need to ask one of Arch Linux developers.
Licenses
You need to purchase a license to activate your copy. Retail licenses will cost $99 and volume licenses will cost $999. Also, OEM licenses exist, but they are not yet available. To purchase a license, contact any Arch Linux developer. They will ask your personal information, contact Linux Foundation and GNU Project to store your user IDs and then send you Certificate of Authenticity. Licenses will not be revoked unless product key is leaked, but you can change them later. OEM licenses will never be revoked but they might be changed if some hardware is changed.
